Rackspace Technology has officially entered into a strategic partnership with Bavarian Regional Telecom to manage its next-generation edge storage network. Under the terms of the agreement, Rackspace engineers will build and operate fully sovereign Kubernetes clusters within secure municipal data centers across Bavaria. This environment conforms with strict regional data sovereignty policies, ensuring that subscriber data remains entirely under local legal jurisdiction.

Localized Micro-Datacenters

To minimize latency and satisfy local residency mandates, Rackspace utilizes a distributed web of micro-datacenters. This setup keeps real-time telecommunications subscriber routing logs within the state lines, managed by security-vetted local technicians.

Post-Quantum Operational Security

The managed Kubernetes clusters feature automated, zero-trust vulnerability patching and are configured with Kyber-compliant secure socket communication layers. This guarantees that subscriber records are shielded against potential decryption attacks by future quantum computers, elevating regional network security.
