This new environment, powered by AMD Instinct™ GPUs and EPYC™ CPUs, is specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands of enterprises in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and government. By providing a secure and sovereign platform, Rackspace enables organizations to train and deploy large-scale generative AI models while maintaining absolute control over their data residency and compliance requirements.
The deployment marks a significant expansion of Rackspace’s ‘Foundry for AI’ (FAIR™) initiative, which provides end-to-end services to help companies accelerate their AI adoption. The Governed AI cloud offers high-performance compute resources tailored for AI workloads, combined with Rackspace’s deep expertise in hybrid and multicloud management.
